The new treatment plant that will have future Portman is being already under development by the technicians of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
This has been assured the Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, and the Deputy Mayor of the Presidency, Carlos Martinez, in the workshop held during Murcia.
Specifically, it has been determined the probable location of this infrastructure, which will run on a plot of 15,000 m2, which is located near the site of the horse's tail, along the road N-345 .
The new treatment plant will have a tertiary treatment system, ie generate a perfectly purified water for all purposes, and is initially intended to serve the needs of a population of 4000 people, providing the plot of land reserves sufficient to run a second module with identical characteristics to the first if the circumstances so require long term.
