Pinion House hosted this morning a joint working session of the officers of Local Employment and Trade and Tourism of the Union, in order to analyze the socioeconomic reality of our town.
The meeting was chaired by our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, and the Director General of Employment and Training Service, Ginés Martínez, and also attended by the representatives of the three political groups represented in the City (PP, PSOE and IU ), the business sector (FAEPU, COEC and Chamber of Commerce of Cartagena), the CCOO union, various social organizations (Foundation Welcomes Sierra Minera and Murcia) and various city agencies (Agency for Local Development and Tourism Office).
The meeting served to discuss the various actions and initiatives undertaken during the year 2012, in the tourism, business, commercial and educational, as well as to study the evolution of the unemployment data from the past year.
It has also been informed of the status of the Draft Regional Strategic Portman Bay, the execution process of social care residence Foundation and Project Diagram of the new port of Cartagena ZAL.
After input from all involved, has agreed to undertake in June another meeting of these local tables in order to continue to make proposals to help create jobs.
