Secretary of Planning and Sustainability PSRM-PSOE, Mark Ros, has demanded that the Minister of Public Works, Antonio Seville, to clarify the causes of the slowdown of the regeneration works Portman Bay.
Mark Ros explained that the company responsible for the upgrading works of the old mining cuts San Jose for the deposit of tailings in the bay have complained of lack of funds to continue the work.
Ros Mark recalled that the regeneration of Portman Bay was a performance of an essential nature to the previous socialist government promoted research from the University of Murcia for the better treatment of sterile finally approved the proposed regeneration of the Bay with the agreement of the City Council of the Union and the regional government, and authorized the investment of more than 80 million euros to finance the work.
