Dances, footwork and shawl woven with personal interpretations of the artist herself a year after the farewell to the stage of the great dancer.
This has developed the documentary 'The Last Solea, directed by the dancer Blanca del Rey and projected this morning in the auditorium of City Hall.
The setting for each of the actions contained in the document are as scenic under the Cathedral of Cante, where through rehearsals and performances, recognize familiar faces such as Manuel Navarro and Francisco Jose Bernabe.
During the presentation of the documentary, it has become clear that the mutual affection Cante de las Minas Festival and its organizers have with the White King and vice versa.
"It's the most important festival of Spain in singing, dancing and music in general," expressed the artist in his own words, adding also his admiration for "a people with a special way of feeling flamenco, with great respect and great wisdom" .
The most anecdotal of this important event of the museums has been the fact that the King's own White had not yet had the opportunity to see the documentary that was projected.
The emotion of the artist to be reflected in this magnificent audiovisual work, has also been shared by the audience that gathered to see this projection.
His intimate and wise way of understanding art, make a hard worker, that with effort and with great creative capacity has been able to reach the top of the jondo.
"We must thank the day to day," expressed the artist, "look back and be pleased to know your past, seeing that you have accomplished a great deal of your dreams."
Humble, hardworking and wise, so is the personality of Blanca del Rey, a great example of improvement and effort.
