This morning took place in Murcia a working meeting between the Minister of the Presidency of the Autonomous Community, Manuel Campos, and a representation of our City Council, formed by our Mayor, Francisco Barnabas, and the Deputy Mayor for Public Safety, Antonio Liarte .
The meeting was described as cordial on both sides, has served to monitor the draft Regeneration Portman Bay, on which the Regional Government has the responsibility for environment, and in relation to which are proceeding satisfactorily the various deadlines for that work can begin during this year.
Similarly, our representatives have made known to the Director the need to reinforce the means available to Civil Protection in the municipality, particularly in regard to the purchase of an ATV that allows patrol the Sierra Minera and its protected areas .
Finally, we have also addressed various issues relating to local finance and investment in our town, in relation to which you are working from the Regional Executive to improve the assistance and cooperation with municipalities.
