Students of Teruel and Soria plotted in the Union 'literary tour' of Mary Cegarra (04/02/2011)

A total of 60 secondary students from the IES Vega del Turia (Teruel) and Gaya Nuño (Almazán, Soria) visited La Union this week as part of territorial cooperation 'Literary Tour', a cultural initiative that wanted to see 'in situ 'places that have inspired and guided the work of the poet Mary unionense Cegarra.

'Literary Tour' is an action of the Ministry of Education for students in third and fourth of the ESO that is intended to complement the training in the classroom by making a schedule that revolves around a book, person or relevant authority on which students work at their centers, after which work is carried out a trip to the place of those authors or works.

Thus, the itinerary of these centers in the region is called "98 and 27 in the Region of Murcia" and consists of the routes Archena and Lorca, Yecla, Murcia, Mar Menor and Cartagena-La Union, the latter for establish profiles of the writers Carmen Conde, Antonio Oliver and Mary Cegarra through visits in both cities, the most characteristic of these literary masters.

On this occasion, students from Teruel and Soria visited the Old Public Market, and later headed the Mining Museum and the Municipality of La Union, where the town's official historian, Francisco Rodenas, gave a lecture on Mary Cegarra with poetry reading Discussed .

With this initiative, which lasts a week in total visits to various parts of the region, encourages reading habit among students and promotes, through visits to towns and cities in other communities, knowledge and appreciation of cultural wealth Spanish.
