The Union is again the capital of Latin dance with 'salsa festival drummers' (03/02/2011)

Union, February 3, 2011.

The mining and Flemish municipality of La Union prepares to host the II International Congress of Latin Rhythms 'drummers Salsa Festival', a musical and festive event was very successful in 2010 that from 4 to 6 February meeting in the Old Public Market to cream of this genre, making La Union, at least for a few days, the capital of sensual dance.

Hotel Serena Golf Resort Los Alcazares is the test site for the 27 Latin Rhythms workshops that will be taught at all levels, thanks to instructors Colombia, United States, Italy, Portugal, England and Spain to give lectures on various styles and fusions such as salsa, rumba, cha-cha-cha, bachata or kizomba, among others.

And when night came, the Old Public Market of the Union will stand on stage for more than 15 shows where attendees will enjoy the best dancers of the day, as Tropical Gem, Marco B and Flamboyan, Latin Salsa Action or Fadi Fusion and as a good game great cultural and social impact where innovation will be key players, and fantasy fusion of Latin dance.

There will be a place for emotion and memory, as Fernando Sosa and Mark B meet for the first time in Spain to present new work hours and a half called 'Tribute to Celia Cruz.

The Queen of Salsa ', which reviewed the life of the Cuban artist, a dance film full of strength, energy and salsa.

'Drummers Salsa Festival', set in the Fourth Spring Arts Union, will also feature a live performance of The Branch, one of the best European orchestras composed of 12 Latin musicians living in Barcelona, and with the show "Download NEW YORK-LONDON: Salsa sin Fronteras, "starring Frankie Vasquez y 'Papote' Jiménez, two singers from New York (USA) high prestige worldwide.

This is the first production of its kind in Spain, and it will not only live video projections and a superb selection of topics, but will give attendees the opportunity to participate in the recording of two new songs specially prepared this meeting - "Salsa Without Borders" and "Rumbero Nuevo'-and therefore its subsequent international spread.

11.30 am: Workshop Ritmos Latinos, Hotel Serena Golf Resort, Los Alcazares, where free buses will go to the Old Public Market.

22.20 am: Opening doors in the Old Public Market (collection of passes & box office).

23.20 am: Start of the shows, followed by the show "Download NEW YORK, LONDON: Salsa Without Borders" and social dancing.

Sunday, February 6

12.00 am: Start of Workshop Ritmos Latinos.

21.00 am: Opening doors in the Old Public Market.

21.30 am: Start of the shows, followed by social dancing.
