The rehabilitation work in the district of Santa Barbara unionense continue its course as normal, and once that has been done since the installation of new water pipes and sewage, is being renovated sidewalks, action after which come the paving of all streets affected.
The mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, stressed the importance of action being carried out "in that it fills a long history with one of the most popular in our town, 'Las Casas Nuevas', whose neighbors came demanding for some time a substantial improvement of public infrastructure, and will finally see their aspirations fulfilled. "
It is expected that these works, which have a budget of 300,000 euros from the Plan E, are completed in late 2010.
