The Association of Retired Persons in the Region of Murcia has shifted during the day today to Union to visit the most emblematic places of the town and visit, ultimately, the Mining Park, which opened its doors in the month of August.
The expedition, consisting of thirty senior officials of the Regional Administration has been received at City Hall by the mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, who has delivered them a gift before his visit to the premises-hall and then , the Old Public Market, home of the International Festival of Cante de las Minas.
Finally, pensioners have approached the Mining Park of La Union, which represents the recovery of eight former mining sites of the nineteenth century, and since its opening last August has received nearly 20,000 hits, almost 9,000 of them in the month of September.
