The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, in the framework of the operation 'Eslouly', has arrested a young criminal who is allegedly responsible for more than a dozen robberies committed in homes and shops in La Union.
In addition, another neighbor in the town has been investigated, who has been instructed to act as alleged perpetrator of the offense of reception.
After the operation, which is framed in the 'Plan against theft in homes' and which is still open, the Civil Guard has clarified eleven criminal acts and has recovered part of the effects stolen, which have already been returned to their rightful owners .
The actions were initiated at the beginning of the year, when the Benemérita detected an increase in the commission of robberies with force committed in homes and commercial premises of La Union.
The first steps of the operation were carried out in the assaulted buildings, in which all possible indications were gathered about the manner of committing the crimes and their perpetrators.
The investigations made allowed to determine that the facts investigated had been committed with a similar modus operandi and with considerable precision, which allowed to verify that they were people with certain criminal experience.
Some of the signs found in the technical-ocular inspections carried out, after being treated by Civil Guards specialized in Criminalistics, allowed us to define a solid line of investigation.
Shortly after, the Civil Guard identified a young neighbor of the locality and with antecedents for similar crimes, which could be found after the authorship of the facts investigated.
Once all the necessary evidence has been obtained, the Civil Guard established a search device on the suspect, which has culminated with his location and detention as an alleged perpetrator of robbery with force.
The civil guards made, with prior judicial authorization, the entry and search of the arrested person's home, where they recovered part of the effects stolen from the robberies.
In parallel, the researchers located and investigated another neighbor in the locality, for having acquired stolen effects, in this case a portable computer.
The investigated has been instructed diligences as alleged perpetrator of receiving crime.
The detainee and the investigated person, the recovered effects and the diligences instructed have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Cartagena (Murcia).
