The LVIII edition of the most important Flamenco Festival in the world brings new courses and workshops to La Unión (18/06/2018)

As every year, during the celebration of the festival different complementary activities to the contest and the flamenco galas take place.

Some of these activities are the courses and workshops that take place during the second week of the festival held in the month of August.

The International Cante de las Minas Flamenco Dance Seminar is one of the many courses that will be held.

The course will be given by the great bailaora Manuela Ríos, formed with figures of the likes of Farruco, José Galván and La Tochá, she has participated in the shows of artists such as Miguel Poveda and Juan de Juan among others.

The classes will take place on August 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 at the Asensio Sáez Cultural Center in La Unión.

The course is divided into two different schedules, depending on the level of the attendees.

For participants who have a basic-medium level, the schedule will be from 10:00 to 11:30 and will have a total cost of 85 euros.

On the other hand, the medium-advanced level schedule will be from 12:00 to 14:00 and will have a total cost of 120 euros.

The maximum number of places per level will be 20 people.

Those interested can register until August 3.

This course aims for the bailaor to work on his / her body expression and pursue the main objective of learning the choreography of a flamenco stick by putting into practice all the exercises carried out and deepening in the staging of the dancer in the tables.
