The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, and Councilwoman Institutional Relations, Juana Sanchez, accompanied by the Director of Secondary School Sierra Minera, Félix Sánchez-Tembleque, shared with students at the school a class of Young Enterprise European project IES educational Sierra Mining has implemented during the current school year.
This training is an initiative of the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Instituto de Fomento Region de Murcia and is aimed at developing entrepreneurial skills of students in 4 º ESO.
Young Enterprise is proposing to the students to create and manage their own mini-business.
The legal form chosen is the cooperative.
From the classroom down trade relations with other micro-enterprises from other regions in order to 'import' and 'export' products together.
The objective of European Young Enterprise is that students develop skills in a real context and attitudes such as initiative, decision making, creativity and teamwork while assimilating basic concepts of creation and business management.
